The English aphorism ‘like father like son’ is truly applicable to Mehbooba Mufti. By paying obeisance at Kheer Bhawani Temple, she has revealed her faith in a composite culture. By placing a wreath on the martyred BSF jawans, she proved her conviction that the gun and grenade cannot solve any political problem. Her observation that the security force personnel are performing difficult duties shows that she has the moral courage to speak the truth. Let it be a lesson for the radicals that violence has no place in a democratic setup and that all problems can be solved by debate,
discussion and dissent. Mehbooba bitiya, it is all commendable, go ahead.
