JAMMU: The members of J and K Movement for Peace, Equality and Justice (MPJ) have expressed surprise that right at the time of elections and to divert the attention of common people from the misdeeds of ministers, legislators and bureaucrats of the coalition partners, the pseudo-secularists of Congress and National Conference have indulged in misleading and wooing the voters in the name of secularism.
They said that these parties were involved in unprecedented corruption, nepotism and mis-governance and have nothing to show to the people except secularism. He urged upon the people to vote for a change to teach them a lesson and choose honest, sincere and dedicated candidates so that common man’s problems could be effectively highlighted. They said that corruption could only be eradicated by the power of vote. They cautioned voters not to repeat their past mistakes in the coming elections and bring honest representatives to the corridors of Assembly.
They appealed to the voters to discard all such faces who are not trustworthy whether they belong to BJP, NC, Congress, PDP, NPP or independent.
