KATHUA: Excise Department on Friday recovered 505 Kg Lahan and 12 bottles and 52 pouches of illicit liquor while conducting raids in Kathua District.
Under the active supervision of the Deputy Excise Commissioner (Executive), Jammu, Mohammed Shahid Saleem, the Excise Team Kathua led by Arun Kumar inspector Excise under the command of Excise and Taxation Officer, Excise Range Kathua, Sandeep Gupta raided various areas including Padyari, Budhi, Muthikhurd, Dharal and Khokhayal areas of Kathua District. In the process more than 505 kilograms of Lahan and 12 bottles and 52 pouches of illicit liquor which was later destroyed by the team on spot.
