JAMMU: In order to curb the menace of illicit distillation of liquor, illegal smuggling of liquor, J and K Excise Department seized more than 1,200 Kgs of Lahan.
Under the active supervision of Excise Commissioner, J and K, T. Angchuk and Deputy Excise Commissioner (Executive), Jammu, Shahid Saleem, various raids have been conducted in Barnoti and Upper Sakta Chak areas of Kathua District in which more than 1,200 Kgs of Lahan was recovered and destroyed in the presence of officials.
The excise sleuths under the command of ETO, Kathua Sandeep Gupta carried the raids.
