JAMMU: All J and K Ex-Central Paramilitary Forces Welfare Association (CPFWA) on Monday staged a protest here at Exhibition Ground against discrimination of the Central Government towards ex-personnel of paramilitary forces. A large number of ex-servicemen of paramilitary forces under the leadership of Association President, R.L Dogra, assembled this morning here at Exhibition Ground and staged a protest in support of demands made by the various constables. Speaking on the occasion, Dogra demanded canteen facility at par with defence personnel, removal of discrepancy in computation and pension between military and paramilitary, medical facilities at par with defence personnel, status of martyrs etc. S.S Manhas, Som Nath Sharma, Thora Ram, Mohd. Mazid, D.D Sharma, Ramesh Singh, Gurbachan Singh, Suraj Parkash, Ram Rattan, Nek Mohd and Surjit Singh were also present in the protest.
