SAMBA: As a part of seven day’s ongoing NSS special camp, on its 2nd day (Friday), an essay writing competition was held on the topic ‘the Role of NSS Volunteers in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’, in the premises of college campus of GDC Samba. The programme was supervised by Dr. Sandhya Rani, NSS Programme Officer.
About 100 NSS volunteers were present and 20 of them took part in the competition. The competition was judged by Dr. Mohd. Riaz, Prof. Ashwani Sharma, Prof. Sushma Gupta, Prof. Sushma Choudhary and Prof. Rashu Sharma. First prize was bagged by Dr. Diksha Sambyal, second by Monika Bundral and third by Ajay Singh and Pooja Sambyal. All the other NSS volunteers indulged themselves in practising for upcoming physical events.
