JAMMU: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) Jammu is set to host its Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 program on March 27, 2025, at the Conference Hall, DC Office, Jammu. The session, commencing at 10:30 AM, is part of EPFO’s ongoing outreach and awareness initiative aimed at addressing the grievances of workers and employers while enhancing awareness about social security benefits.
The program will be led by Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-II, Jammu, Ajit Kumar Mishra, accompanied by the District Nodal Officer. Both officials will personally address grievances from employees, pensioners, employers, and industry representatives. This direct engagement aims to ensure transparency, build trust, and provide handholding support to those in need of assistance.
One of the primary objectives of this program is to raise awareness among stakeholders about various EPFO services, such as Provident Fund (PF), Pension, and Insurance. Participants will be guided on grievance filing procedures through portals like EPFiGMS and CPGRAMS. Additionally, education on digital services, including online claim filing, KYC updates, e-nominations, and fraud prevention, will be provided to ensure smoother processes and greater accessibility for users.
The Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 program will feature key activities, such as the enrollment of new members, activation of UAN (Universal Account Numbers), Aadhaar seeding, and filing of ECRs and e-nominations. A dedicated Pension Help Desk will be established during the event to resolve pension-related issues on the spot, ensuring immediate support to stakeholders.
The event will also showcase EPFO’s pivotal initiatives, such as the Employees’ Pension Scheme, 1995, and the Employees’ Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme, 1976, which offers enhanced insurance benefits of up to ?7 lakhs. Since November 2019, these social security benefits have been extended to employees in the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, highlighting the organization’s commitment to improving the welfare of workers in the region.
The PF Commissioner has urged all employers to ensure social security coverage for eligible employees from their first day of joining, emphasizing the importance of compliance for a secure workforce.
