JAMMU: Rizwan Uddin, the Regional P.F. Commissioner, on Wednesday distributed 35 Pension Payment Orders (PPOs) directly to pensioners visiting the Regional Office,
The team, comprising officers Ajit Kumar Mishra and officials like Pritpal Singh and Dr. Paramjeet Singh, has processed numerous pension claims, including those for the family members of deceased employees.
Special attention has been given to settling death claims promptly, underscoring the EPFO’s commitment to supporting families during difficult times.
Rizwan Uddin distributed pension certificates to various pensioners, such as Rajni Raina, Bittu Ram, Koushalya Devi, Ashwani Kumar, and Aneel Kumar Misri.
It’s essential to note the eligibility criteria for pension benefits under the Employees’ Pension Scheme 1995, which includes having ten or more years of service. Members can also apply for Superannuation Pension online after reaching 58 years of age.
