JAMMU: Gearing up the party’s activities ahead of the 2024 Parliament Elections, the Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Seh-Prabhari Ashish Sood said, “The enthusiasm in the public ensures Narendra Modi as Prime Minister (PM) for the third term with thumping majority and we are confident to register record-breaking win in this elections.”
In an exclusive interview with STATE TIMES, BJP Seh-Prabhari Ashish Sood said, “The blessings of the people are with Modi ji and we are winning this Parliamentary elections crossing 400 mark.”
“The BJP in Jammu and Kashmir has a long history of struggle and sacrifices and has vast experience of defeating the designs of anti-national and dynastic forces,” He said adding that in view of the Lok Sabha elections also, every activist of the party is working for the progress and prosperity of J&K and also for the entire Nation.
The senior BJP leader Ashish Sood said, the mood of the country is completely in the favour of Bharatiya Janata Party. He said the 10-year report card of the Modi government is full of achievements.
Senior BJP leader Ashish Sood further said, “The policies and programmes of the Modi government have brought vast changes in the lives of the common man as over 4 Crore people have got houses under PM Awas Yojana, over 80 crore people are getting free ration, 14 Crore people have got tap water connections, 11 Crore have got free LPG connections under Ujwala Yojana, over 12 Crore toilets have been constructed for below poverty line people, over 60 Crore people have got medical cover under Ayushman Bharat Scheme and there is 100 percent medical cover in Jammu & Kashmir. Abrogation of Article 370 and 35A has brought peace, prosperity and progress in J&K.”
The senior BJP leader said zero tolerance towards terrorism and the will to take bold decisions are appreciated by the people at large, which will give the BJP a decisive victory in the upcoming parliamentary elections to pave the way for the party to form the government for a third consecutive term under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Bhai Modi.
The BJP is committed towards the security of the country and works for its unity and integrity, he added.
Echoing the condemnation over Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Shakti’ remark in Maharashtra, BJP Seh Prabhari Ashish Sood said, “Rahul Gandhi is looking at India through the eyes of a foreigner from Italy. He is trying to defame the country and create confusion. He has been continuously making nefarious attempts.” “Congress sometimes insults the army, sometimes the religion, sometimes the country, sometimes the institutions of the country,” Ashish said.
“Maa Shakti is the strength of the country… Since time immemorial, we have revered her. Unfortunately, he (Rahul Gandhi) is consistently disrespecting Maa Shakti, Sanatan Dharma, religion, and central institutions,” stated BJP leader Ashish Sood in the interview with STATE TIMES.
Sood further accused the Aam Aadmi Party of peddling a bundle of lies on the issue of its leader Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest, asserting that those who are corrupt will go to jail. Politicians used to scratch each other’s back to help each other while indulging in scams but this has changed in the last 10 years under the government headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“Should he (Kejriwal) be let off because he is a chief minister and not a common man,” he asked, alleging that the Delhi Chief Minister is a main accused in the corruption case being probed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
With opposition parties, including the Congress, rallying to Kejriwal’s defence and describing his arrest as part of the Union government’s crackdown on their leaders, the senior BJP leader and J&K BJP Seh Prabhari Ashish Sood said, “It is an example of gang of corrupts displaying brotherhood.”
