JAMMU: A meeting of Jammu Kashmir Government Employees Joint Action Committee (K) was held under the Chairmanship of Balvinder Singh Provincial President JKGEJAC (K).
The meeting was attended by Nazir Ahmed Bhat, State Vice President, Amrik Singh State General Secretary, Ravi Singh Bhau Senior Vice President Jammu Dharminder Singh Bhargav, General Secretary Jammu, Amrik Singh, Senior Member Abdul Aziz, Joint Secretary, Umar Jan Batt, Provincial Secretary Subash Chander Sharma, Chief Organizer, Vipan Kumar Organizer and Rajesh Mehra.
The meeting welcomed the Government Order issued by the Divisional Commissioner Jammu, regarding the office timings of the Government Offices of Jammu Division, (Summer Zone) viz. 8.00 AM to 2.00 PM and (winter Zone) 10.00 AM to 4.00 PM with effect from 1st May 2016. JKGEJAC (K) also appealed to the Government and to the Divisional Commissioner, not to entertain the request of any Department/HOD for change of timings as per their whims and fancies.
