Education is the best toolkit to fix every child’s destiny: Principal JKPS Kunjwani

JAMMU: “Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of mind to think”. With these thought provoking words Tejasvini from Grade VIII C hosted the morning assembly along with her batchmates.
Since every inspiring quotation has a prodigious influence on us, so Kanishka presented the famous quote from Thomas D. Huxley. She said, “Perhaps the most valuable result of all education is the ability to make yourself do the thing, when it ought to be done, whether you like it or not”. The deeper connotations of the quote enthralled the audience.
Presenting some interesting facts pertaining to Indian education, Ananya said, “India has the privilege of having the first and the oldest women’s college in Asia. Thomas Macaulay is known as the father of Modern Education in India. According to survey, conducted in 2021-22, the literacy rate of India is 77.70%. The most literate state of India is Kerala with the literacy rate of 94%, whereas the least literate state of India is Bihar with the literacy rate of 63.82%. Literacy rate of Jammu & Kashmir is 67.16%. Dr. S Radhakrishnan has been considered as the greatest teacher of all times. Savitribai Phule is considered to be the best female teacher of all times.
Then the podium was taken over by Urvi, who reflected further on the topic with words of wisdom. She said, “Education is the tool which can transform any life. It is the key to success and can transform every opportunity into a milestone. For an individual, education has many advantages. It not only enlightens the mind but also enhances the thought process of a person. This makes it possible for students to qualify for jobs or pursue higher education. Moreover, it develops the personality, thoughts and social skills of humans. It not only prepares an individual for various experiences and circumstances in their lives but also makes them hold a unique significance in society.
It increases the knowledge of a person and boosts confidence which is going to help them throughout their lives. Education is important for people of all age groups. Education has no limitations, if you want to have it, you can get it any time. Education makes us self reliant people and cultivates such values in us that help us to be respected people in the society. Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow, belongs to those who prepare for it today.
Principal JKPS Kunjwani Rajesh Rathore appreciated the students of Grade VIIIC for presenting a brilliant assembly programme. He applauded students to be the conscious learners and teachers for their hand-holding at every step to make them reach their dream destination. He concluded his speech stating, “Education endorses the intelligence of human beings, develops their dexterity and enables them to be industrious. Thus, it is indispensable for us all. Education is the best Toolkit to fix every child’s destiny. Let’s embark on this journey with our indomitable spirit & unflinching self-belief”.
