JAMMU: Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) City South, Gandhi Nagar Jammu, Dr. Sachit Sharma get awarded with the prestigious Home Minister Medal for excellence in investigation 2022.
A total of 151 investigation officers from the whole country has been awarded with this medal.
Dr. Sachit is the only police officer from J&K and Ladakh who got conferred with this award.
Reportedly, Dr. Sachit has been awarded this medal for meticulous investigation done by him in Krishna Dhaba attack case in 2021.
He had unearth the conspiracy to revive Muslim Janbaaz Force in Valley.
DySP Sachit is already a recipient of Police Medal for Gallantry, Jammu Kashmir Police Medal for Gallantry, DG JKP Commendation Disc and DG CRPF Commendation Disc.
