Drug peddler held with 2 Kg Ganja

JAMMU: Police on Monday arrested a drug peddler and recovered 2 Kg of Ganja from his possession.
According to a report, police party from Trikuta Nagar Police Station laid a Naka at Vaishnavi Dham near Railway Station Jammu. During checking, the police intercepted a pedestrian and recovered 2 kg Ganja from his possession.
The pedestrian has been identified as Azadi Sahu, son of Hardyou Sahu, resident of Patna Bihar, at present residing at Chinar Factory Gangyal.
In this regard, an FIR No. 148 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Trikuta Nagar.
The arrest was made by SHO Trikuta Nagar Inspector Naveen Angral under the direct supervision of SDPO East Mohammad Rafiq, SP South Udhay Bhaskar Billa and SSP Jammu Rajeev Pandey.
