JAMMU: Police on Saturday apprehended a drug peddler and recovered 50 gm of Charas and 1,348 intoxicating capsules from his possession.
According to report, Police Party from Domana Police Station during a Naka at Domana arrested one Naresh Singh (28 years), son of Harbans Singh, resident of Mishriwala and recovered three Challis of Charas weighing around 50 gm and 1,348 capsules of brand name SPM PRX.
In this regard, a case vide FIR No. 100/2016 under Sections 8, 20 and 21 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Domana and investigation of the case is going on. The arrest was made under the ongoing special drive Operation Sanjeevani launched by Dr. Sunil Gupta, SSP Jammu.
The operation was conducted under the supervision of Surinder Kumar, Dy.SP SDPO Domana and Arun Gupta, SP Rural, Jammu.
