BHADARWAH: Police on Sunday arrested a drug peddler along with large number of intoxicants from Bhadarwah.
A police spokesman said that, a team from Domal Police Post laid a Naka at Domal and intercepted a pedestrian on suspicious grounds.
During checking, police recovered 700 Proxy One capsules, 21 bottles of Rexcof (codine) and 50 tablets of Alprazolam. The drug peddler was arrested, who has been identified as Mehraj Din son of Abdul Latif Sheikh resident of old Bus Stand Bhadarwah.
A case under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at Bhadarwah police station and investigation started.
