KATRA: Police on Sunday arrested a drug peddler and recovered 85 grams of Ganja from his possession.
According to a report, acting on a specific input, a police team headed by Dr. Ashok Sharma, SDPO Katra along with Inspector Sanjeev Sharma, SHO Police Station Katra during checking at Railway Road Katra, recovered 19 pouches of polythene containing Ganja (total weighed 85 gms) from the possession of Sohan Lal son of Shyam Lal resident of Sukhetar Domail district Jammu who was on way towards Katra town from Railway Station on foot. The accused person has been arrested and recovered Ganja has also been seized.
A case vide FIR No. 70/2016 under section 8/20 NDPS Act, was registered at Police Station Katra.
