KISHTWAR: One person was killed when the tipper, he was driving skidded-off the road and plunged into gorge near Higher Secondary School Sarthal, Kishtwar on Sunday.
According to reports, the ill-fated vehicle was on its way to Kishwar from Sarthal and when the driver lost control over the vehicle it landed into a gorge resulting driver got injured who died in District Hospital Kishtwar during treatment.
After completing legal formalities, the body of the deceased identified as Bashir Ahmed (26), son of Abdul Latief resident of Doda was handed over to legal heirs.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at concerned police station and investigation has been started.
