KISHTWAR: A driver got killed when a vehicle (Cruiser) he was driving skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge in district Kishtwar.
According to a reports, a passenger vehicle (JK17-2379) which was on its way from Kishtwar towards Padyarana falls into gorge while driver of the vehicle lost control on it while negotiating a curve at Bhatan area of Kishtwar resulting in driver died on the spot.
After listening about the incident, police and locals rushed to the spot and after rescuing driver from the vehicle shifted him to district hospital, where doctors declared him as brought dead.
The deceased has been identified as Lekh Raj (50) son of Bagh Chand Resident of Chandna, Nagseni area of Kishtwar.
According to police, after completing legal formalities body of deceased was handed over to his family members for last rites. Police has registered a case in this regard.
