JAMMU: Dr Vikas Sharma, Assistant Professor in the Division of Biochemistry, Faculty of Basic Sciences, SKUAST-Jammu, conferred Best Faculty Award-2017.
The award was conferred to Dr Sharma on the recommendation of research wing for excellence in professional education of Faculty Brand Awards (FBA), a certified organisation committed to recognise extraordinary faculty members who demonstrate a track record of academic excellence reflected by distinct contributions over many years. The award that contains a Certificate of Excellence along with memento was presented to Dr Sharma at 5th FBA Award Ceremony-2017 at Kolkata, India which was attended by more than 100 delegates from India and abroad.
Dr Sharma has 11 years experience of research and teaching. He is a Fellow Member of many prestigious societies and has more than 100 publications of national and international repute to his credit. He is recipient of Young Scientist, Best Educationist and Venus International Faculty Award. In addition he got many appreciation certificates from various government organisations for his contributions in the field of science.
