Dr Jitendra discusses upcoming Party programmes with his constituency’s BJP leaders

NEW DELHI: Union Minister, Dr. Jitendra Singh held a Preparatory meeting via video conferencing with BJP District Presidents, MLAs and DDC Chairpersons of the Udhampur-Kathua-Doda Lok Sabha constituency to review the upcoming party programmes on the eve of the Independence Day and for the next few weeks.
Dr. Jitendra outlined a detailed roadmap for the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and Har Ghar Tiranga Yatra, scheduled from August 2 to 15, 2025.
He informed participants that, to build momentum, he had already flagged off one Tiranga Yatra in Udhampur yesterday, and will also participate in a motorbike rally tomorrow in New Delhi, while he will lead a Tiranga Yatra in Kathua on the August 13.
Dr Jitendra also urged party functionaries, youth wings, and citizens to celebrate Independence Day with full patriotic fervour, ensuring that no house in the constituency is left without the Tricolour fluttering proudly.
Describing the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign as a people’s festival of unity, reminding everyone that the national flag is a living symbol of India’s freedom struggle, integrity, and pride, Dr Jitendra motivated BJP workers and youth volunteers to reach every home, inspire every citizen, and make the celebrations truly inclusive.
Looking ahead, the Minister briefed participants about the upcoming National Sports Day celebrations, to be observed from August 29, 2025, in honour of India’s hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand.
The celebrations will commence with the registration of potential sportspersons and will include a variety of sporting events to encourage youth participation and promote a culture of fitness. He highlighted that this extended celebration will continue until October 2, coinciding with Gandhi Jayanti, thereby linking sports promotion with national values.
Dr. Jitendra urged leaders at all levels to integrate the spirit of patriotism and sportsmanship in these events, turning the coming weeks into a grand celebration of India’s unity, youth power, and cultural pride.
