DPS Nagbani organises workshop on institutional planning

JAMMU: Delhi Public School (DPS) Nagbani on Monday organised a workshop on ‘Institutional Planning: Challenges and Perspectives’ which was conducted by the Principal of the School, R.K Verma as a resource person. He threw light on the topic by saying that institutional planning is the process of thinking, deciding and willing so that an institution becomes a model.
He said, “It is necessary for the overall development of the students for bringing about desirable changes in their behaviour and making school as a means of development of community and society. Hence, institutional planning means all those conditions, resources and their integrated and interacted activities which directly or indirectly affect the functioning of the school”. “It is important to stress that the school planning is not just about the curriculum but also includes all the aspects of the school that contribute to improve the institution i.e, ethos, values, equal opportunities, staff development and behaviour building,” he added.
Chairman/Trustee, Ajatshatru Singh, Sole Trustee, Ritu Singh, Trustees Adhishree Singh and Ranvijay Singh and Director, DPS, Nagbani S.S Sodhi congratulated Verma for conducting this workshop and conveyed their best wishes to the participants for professional growth and good luck for their future endavours.
