DPS Leh students excel in poster-making

LEH: Delhi Public School (DPS) Leh students added another feather to their cap by clinching two positions in poster making competition on the topic ‘Free and Fair Election’ organised by the District Police Office Leh.
More than 12 schools of Leh District took part in the competition.
In the Junior Category, Anishka Srivastav of DPS Leh, a student of 6th class clinched first prize while Stinzin Angmo of 8th class clinched third prize in the senior category.
Earlier, the programme was presided over by the Deputy Commissioner Leh Simrandeep Singh in the presence of Superintendent of Police Leh Dr. Sunil Gupta and various officers from civil and police administration.
It was very tough competition but adjudicators did well at last to announce the winners.
The prizes were distributed among the winners by the Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police.
Principal of the school, Subhash Kumar Baldotra appreciated the efforts of the students and the staff for preparing the students.
Local Management Committee Member, T.P Singh also congratulated the winners and their parents and wished them success in their life.
