DPS Leh organises Salad-making competition

LEH: Delhi Public School (DPS) Leh on Thursday organises Salad-Making competition for the students of classes 6th to 12th in which about eighty students participated.
The students brought different varieties of vegetables and other required material to beautify their stuff and cut and decorated their salads elegantly.
Dr. Zahida Bano, Administrator Municipal Committee Leh/Chief Executive Officer Leh Development Agency was the Chief Guest and acted as the Judge.
She was impressed by the way the students have showcased their hidden potential and talent. She selected Shamona Angela and Stanzin Angmo of class 11th C and 10th as the first prize winners, while Stanzin Dolker of class 12th A and Padma Yangzes of 11th A were adjudged as second prize winners and Shabana Fatima and Norzin Angmo of class 6th got third prizes each while Arsalan Pervez and Padma Angmo of class 8th got consolation prizes.
Earlier, while welcoming the Chief Guest, the Principal Subhash Kumar Baldotra offered traditional Khatak to her.
The students were given trophies and citations by the Chief Guest who appreciated the efforts of the school for not only providing quality education but also provide opportunities to the students for participating in various activities and competitions.
She also urged the students to participate in all activities besides excelling in studies for their all round development.
Executive Member and Educational Advisor DPS Leh, T.P Singh also congratulated the winners.
