DPS Jammu shines in badminton

JAMMU: Delhi Public School (DPS) Jammu won seven medal including three gold and four silver medals in the 43rd Badminton Championship held at Police Badminton Hall, Gulshan Ground from 17th to 20th November, 2016. Udayan -III B won one silver medal in U-10 boys category and Ritika Rana VI-D won one silver medal in U-13 girls doubles category. Bhavini Dalpatia of VIII -K won one gold in U-17 girls doubles and one silver in U-15 Girls Singles while Savinay Mengi XI-A won one Gold in U-17 boys doubles and one silver in U-19 boys doubles. Preeti Gupta Coach DPS Jammu also brought laurels to the school by winning one goldin women doubles. The Chief Guest, Chander Prakash Ganga, Minister of Industries and Commerce, felicitated the winners during prize distribution. Principal DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra and Headmistress, Meenu Gupta congratulated all the winners and their parents and wished them all the best for the upcoming National Level Competition. President RCT, Ajatshatru Singh, Pro Vice Chairman, Ritu Singh and Director, S.S Sodhi also conveyed their best wishes to all the winners for their bright future.
