JAMMU: Delhi Public School (DPS) Jammu organised an inter-House skit competition on Thursday for the students of Class III.
A team of eight students from each of the five Houses took part in the event. The skits were based on the rich Hindu mythology. The students portrayed the different characters with varied hues by not only showcasing the aura of Gods, Demons but by also enchanting Shlokas, Mantras and Quotes from their life.
The competition was adjudged by the experts Anil Baru and Shalini Pradhan on the basis of originality, presentation, fluency, pronunciation and degree of appeal to the audience. The winner was Yamuna House, while Jhelum House bagged runner-up trophy.
Headmistress upto Middle School, Meenu Gupta appreciated the beautiful amalgamation of grace, elegance and confidence of students. She stated that such events will help in developing these amateurs into artists and help us to explore their artistic talent.
Additional Director/ Principal, Dr. (Mrs.) D. Joseph DPS, Jammu congratulated the winners and the teachers for the successful completion of the event.
