JAMMU: Pursuing the vision to develop scientific attitude in the students, a science exhibition for classes VI-VIII was organized in Delhi Public School here on Saturday.
The Chief Guests of the day were Dr. Baldev Singh, Senior Principal Scientist, RRL Jammu and Dr. Gurdarshan Singh, Senior Scientist, RRL Jammu.
The occasion was also graced by delegates from Canada, Grath and Jggy who inaugurated the exhibition.
The highlights of the exhibition were models on Green House, Rainwater Harvesting, Organic Village, Science City, Life on Mars and Future Earth 2050 Maglev.
The project on Rainwater Harvesting was adjudged the Best Exhibit in Class VI, Ambident Back Scatter bagged the Best Project in Class VII and Solar Street System was pronounced the Best Project in Class VIII.
The students and teachers were lauded by the Headmistress DPS Jammu, Meenu Gupta and the parents who interacted with the students for their queries.
Additional Director/Principal, DPS Jammu, Dr. (Mrs.) D. Joseph conveyed her best wishes to the students, teachers and the parents for the successful completion of the exhibition.
