DPS Jammu carries out plantation drive

JAMMU: To spread awareness about the need to save our environment, students of Delhi Public School (DPS) Jammu on Tuesday carried out a plantation drive in the school campus.
Students of Class Prep made paper bags and decorated them with drawings and quotes on ‘Environment’. Say No to polythene bags and Recycle and Reuse was their Mantra.
Principal, DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra applauded the efforts of the students and staff and emphasised on the importance of the trees and the need to protect them.
Headmistress, Meenu Gupta also planted saplings along with the students of Class 1st and 2nd and stressed on the fact that it is the responsibility of everyone to save the environment. Coordinator, Pre-Primary Wing, Preeti Abrol and other staff members were also present.
President RCT, Ajatshatru Singh, Pro Vice Chairperson, Ritu Singh and Director, S.S Sodhi also conveyed their best wishes to the students and urged them to do their best to save the environment.
