BHADARWAH: A double story house gutted completely under mysterious circumstance at village Bagadan in Tanta Panchayat of Tehsil Kahara in District Doda late last night.
According to reports, Mohd Sharief son of Abdul Kareem Wani resident of Bagaran alongwith his family members had gone to Gandoh to meet some relatives, when they came back late last night, they found their house in flames, they immediately raised an alarm and within no time dozens of villagers gathered and tried to douse the flames with mud but all their efforts fell in vain as the house reportedly was made of cedar and pine wood due to which within three hours complete structure and all belongings turned into ashes. Later a police party from Police Post Kahara also reached the spot but fire tenders could not reach there as Bagaran village is 3 Km away from motorable road.
Family members have alleged some foul play as the village is not electrified and there is no chance of short circuit. Police has registered a case open FIR 123/2016 Under section 436 RPC at Police Station Gandoh and started investigation to ascertain the cause of fire.
