Dogras show of strength on Monday: DSSP

JAMMU: A Rosh rally of all Dogras of Jammu province to express solidarity with the Dogra youth under legal detention of the police shall be organized by Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan party on Monday on 28th August, 2023. This rally shall be to express the anguish, restlessness and the sufferings which the people of Jammu province are suffering for the last so many years and more particularly in the post abrogation Article 370 period. While addressing the press conference, Dr. Hari Dutt Shishu, General Secretary along with the team of senior party leaders said that DSSP which is actually fighting for the Jammu cause, is already on the roads in the form of Jan Samparak Abhiyaan, Jan Samparak and organizing seminars to unite people and the Civil Society to permanently end the sufferings of Jammu by making Jammu State with Article 371. This Rosh Rally shall be led by the party founder Chairman and former MP and Cabinet Minister Ch. Lal Singh and shall start from Lakhanpur at 10 AM and culminate at Sarore Toll post on Monday. DSSP in its general body meeting unanimously resolved yesterday to fight the issue till our Dogra youth under illegal detention are released unconditionally and also there is complete roll back of Toll posts of Sarore and Lakhanpur along with banning the smart metering. Jammu is the worst sufferer on all fronts under this regime and there are endless woes every section of the Society including Youth, students, farmers, businessmen, Industrialists, laborers both skill and unskilled are going through. This is the pent up anger and the frustration against the apathy of the government that people have started coming openly on roads and this ‘Rosh Rally’ shall actually and truly show the anger of comman man and women on Monday. DSSP earnestly appeal to all the Dogras of this region to join this historic rally as it is going to be the waterloo of Dogras but will be held peacefully and quite in democratic way. We will not allow anyone to cause damage to the public or private property or no public harassment shall be allowed in the movement. Those prominent participated in the Press Conference include Sr. Vice President KD Singh Jamwal, Prof HR Sharma, Chief Treasures, Suman Wazir, President women wing, Dr. Taran Singh, Balbir Singh Azad, Vice presidents, Raju Pahalwan, Divyansh Varma Sr. Vice President Youth, and Romesh Tickoo, state Secretary, Vijyant Pathania District president Jammu urban.
