JAMMU: NSS Unit of Dogra College of Education organised three-days cleanliness drive and slogan writing competition in the college premises. During the cleanliness drive the volunteers dispensed information on sgnificance of cleanliness and donated handmade dustbins.
About 30 volunteers participated in the slogan writing competition. By making the slogans, NSS volunteers spread the awareness about the bad effects of polluted environment. In the slogan writing competition Suneha Sharma, Pallavi Sharma and Ritika Bangotra bagged first, second and third prizes respectively and consolation prizes went to Preeti Sharma.
Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary, Dogra Educational Trust and S.C Khajuria, Director Administration and CD of Dogra Educational Trust were also present. Dr. Vikesh Kumar Sharma, Principal Dogra College of Education admired the efforts of NSS volunteers for making their society neat and clean.
