JAMMU: Langar Seva of Baba Amarnath & Buda Amarnath Yatri Niyas was inaugurated on Thursday by Ramesh Kumar Divisional Commissioner Jammu by lighting the ceremonial lamp amidst chanting of Vedic Mantras.
He served food/Prasad to Sadhu and other devotees who have come to perform Shri Amarnath Yatra at Geeta Bhawan, Parade Ground.
Divisional Commissioner accompanied by Pawan Kumar Kohli President and Sudershan Khajuria General Secretary Niyas had the round of the halls where Sadhus and other Yatris are accommodated and also inspected the Registration and Health counters set up in Geeta Bhawan.
Divisional Commissioner appreciated the efforts of Niyas for providing logistics and food to the devotees coming to perform both Shri Amarnath and Shri Budha Amarnath Yatras.
He said that all religious, social, trade organisations and Sabha-Biradaris remain in supportive role with administration to make these Yatras successfully conducted.
Parshotam Dadhichi President Sanatan Dharam Sabha, Deepak Gupta President Traders Federation Ware House, Ram Pal Seth President Shri Bawa Kailash Devsthan, Deepak Aggarwal, Anil Suri, Suresh Chander Gupta and Dev Raj Sharma, all trustees of the Niyas remained present on the occasion.
Others present in the function were Shakti Dutt Sharma, Deepak Dhawan, Anoop Aggarwal all vice Presidents, Bal Krishan Gupta Treasurer, Suresh Sharma, Sat Pal Sharma, Deepak Sharma, Vipin Mittel, Rajesh Bhasin all Secretaries of Niyas and Prabhat Singh Jamwal General Secretary and Pawan Baru Secretary of S.D.Sabha.
