POONCH: Two-day District Poonch Thang-Ta meet, organised by District Thang-Ta Association, concluded at Jamia Zia Ul Uloom High School, here. The event was sponsored by the J and K State Sports Council as part of the domestic activities.
Now, the selected team out of this district meet shall take part in the upcoming State championship slated to be held at Srinagar in the month of August.
District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Jammu, who also holds the additional charge of district Poonch and Rajouri, was Chief Guest, who encouraged thee young participants. President Shaheed Manjeet Singh Volleyball Club, Tariq Khan was Guest of Honour.
Among others present were Principal of host School, Wahid Ahmed Banday, Ajaz Ahmed Bhatt and Abdul Rehman Mir.
