UDHAMPUR: Shubam Kapoor, Ankit Singh Jamwal, Sanjeev Kumar and Harmeet Singh won gold medals in District Bench Press and Dead Lift Power Lifting Championship in their respective categories.
The championship was declared open by the Chief Guest, Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Neeraj Kumar in presence of Guests of Honour, President Chamber of Commerce Udhampur, Ravi Malguria and General Manager District Industries Center Udhampur, Angrej Singh. The opening function was presided over by Rohit Sethi, President District Power Lifting Association Udhampur.
About 100 power lifters participated in the championship which was held under the control of Pawan Gupta, Vice President District Power Lifting Association Udhampur.
Medal and certificates were awarded by Deputy Commissioner Udhampur.
Others present were Sushil Sharma, Sukhdev Singh, Raghuveer Gandotra, Ravinder Singh, Sachin Sallan, Shankar Sallan, Ankit Singh, Puran Singh, Ajay Sharma, Ajeet Singh, Vikram Singh, Sawaran Singh and Jaswinde Singh.
Rohit Sethi presented vote of thanks and disclosed that such championship will also be organised by association in future.
