SRINAGAR: Ensuring the punctuality of employees and improvement of work culture at all levels, Director Agriculture Kashmir, Syed Altaf Ajaz Andrabi along with Chief Agriculture Officer Budgam on Saturday conducted a surprise visit to Agriculture office zone Khanda Budgam at 3:30 PM and found office locked and all the officers and officials were found absent from their legitimate duties.
All the absentees were placed under suspension with immediate effect and enquiry was also ordered for unauthorised absence from duties.
Taking strict notice of the absenteeism, Director Agriculture Kashmir Syed Altaf Aijaz Andrabi has directed all the concerned officers/ officials working in the department to strictly adhere to the office timings, so that people do not face hardships.
He stressed on improvement in work culture and warned of strict action against erring employees in future.
