JAMMU: A Division Bench of State High Court comprising Justice Virender Singh and Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur took up the PIL against unplanned digging and frequent traffic jams in the Jammu City and granted time to petitioner to file supplementary affidavit.
The PIl was filed by two advocates namely Ashish Sharma and Deepak Singh Balouria highlighted the hardships faced by the residents of the city.
After hearing Senior Advocate B S Salathia with Advocate Meenakshi Salathia appearing for the PIL whereas AAG Seema Shekhar appearing for the State whereas Advocate S.S Nanda appearing for the state, the Bench asked Senior Advocate B.S Salathia appearing for the petitioner to file supplementary affidavit in which he could put forth certain suggestion regarding PIL.
