JAMMU: Range Police Jammu in collaboration with Christian Sports Organisation on Wednesday organised Cricket Tournament under 14 boys for wards of police martyrs and serving police personnel.
Shakeel Ahmed Beig, DIG Jammu, who inaugurated the tournament, said that this tournament has been organised to keep the wards of Police Martyrs and Police Officers mentally and physically fit and channelise their energies in the right direction.
In today’s matches, JKP Jr. XI earned 3 points and Charistian Sports Jr.-XI got 1 point. The next test series shall be played on 2nd of January-2015.
Parshotam Sharma, Deputy Director, Prosecution Member Organizing Committee, Rajesh Gill, Manmohit Sharma, CPO RPHQ Jammu and Vivek Shaikher, Deputy Superintendent headquarters Jammu were present on the occasion.
