JAMMU: To honour the meritorious students who excelled in Class 8th Board Exams conducted by DIET Jammu and class 10th and 12th Board Exams conducted by JK BOSE, a felicitation function was organized by LIC, India in Dogra Higher Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, here today,
Chief Guest, Gulchain Singh Charak, Former Minister congratulated the outstanding students and added that study with consistency is the key to success.
He along with the Guests of Honour Rajesh Gupta, Branch Manager LIC distributed the student of the year Trophies among the meritorious students.
The school bagged five positions in 8th class along with sixteen distinctions, 16th position in 10th class and 16 distinctions and 16 subject wise positions and 26 distinctions in 12th class Board Examinations.
The Principal of the Institution, Devinder Kour, highlighted the academic performance of the students.
The vote of thanks was presented by Gambhir Dev Singh Charak, Managing Director of the School.
