REASI: Dharmari Cricket Club Reasi defeated Dewal Cricket Club and registered win in the ongoing District Reasi T20 Cricket Tournament, organised by District Police at Sports Stadium, here on Thursday.
Earlier, batting first, Dewal Cricket Club managed to score 121 run for the loss of eight wickets in the 15 overs. Shabaz (22 off 14 balls), Saleem (14 off nine balls) and Sohial (14 off 13 balls) were the main scorers. For Dharmari Cricket Club, Ajaz and Mushtaq claimed two wickets each while Saddam took one.
In reply, Dharmari Cricket Club rode on superb knocks by Muhtaq (34 off 20 balls), Javed (35 off 20 balls) and Nitin (16 off 15 balls) chased the target in 13.2 overs by losing five wicket, thus won the match by five wickets. For Dewal Cricket Club, Saleem grabbed three wickets while Moh-Din took one. Mushtaq was adjudged Man of the Match for his match winning knock.
Senior Citizens, Kuldeep Raj Dubey, Balbir Singh and Angrez Singh were the Chief Guests on the occasion who were introduced with players prior to start of match. The match was officiated by Vikas Anand and Vikas Sharma as Umpires while Kewal Bali acted as Scorer.
