DGP sanctions Special Reward of Rs 1.14 lakh for police wards

SRINAGAR: Director General of Police, Dr. S.P Vaid has sanctioned Special Reward of Rs.1,14,000 in favour of 14 wards of serving police personnel out of Central Police Welfare Fund.
The reward of Rs. 10,000 each has been sanctioned in favour of four police wards, who have qualified competitive examination conducted by BOPPE in the year 2016.
Ten police wards who have secured 70 per cent and above marks in graduation and post graduation examinations during the academic year 2015-16 have been given DGP’s Special Reward.
Wards who have qualified competitive examinations have been given DGPs Special Reward along with commendation certificate are Nida Amin, Wasim Alam, Mohaammad Soban Malik and Falak Firdous.
The wards of policemen who secured 70 per cent and above mark in graduation/post graduation examinations and have been given DGP’s Special Reward namely Mehnaza Manzoor, Pooja Saproo, Arooq Ahmad Shah, Yawar Hussain Khan, Saima Bashir, Waseem Qader, Peerzada Mohammad Shaiq, Sheba Bashir, Asif Rafiq Rather and Sahreen Ashraf.
Meanwhile, Vaid also congratulated police ward Suhail Qasim Mir, son of Mohammad Qasim and his family for qualifying UPSC, the results of which were declared yesterday.
Suhail Qasim of 26 years age, is a son of Head Constable Mohammad Qasim Mir, who is posted in district Srinagar. A resident of village Sirhama, Bijbehara District Anantnag, Suhail has succeeded in his first attempt to qualify the examination and has secured 125th position. He has wished all of them a bright future and success.
