JAMMU: The workers of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena (DFSS) on Tuesday held a protest against the unconstitutional action by the lawmakers in Legislative Assembly by disrespecting the National Anthem.
Led by party president Ashok Gupta, scores of party activists assembled near Rani Park and held a strong demanding a protest action on them by registering FIR against these lawmakers. Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Gupta said, “A citizen of India weather a politician or a common man is bound by the Constitution of the country. In a recent incident some people were arrested for not standing at the playing of National Anthem then why no action has been taken against the opposition lawmakers when the National Anthem was disrespected by them in the J&K Assembly.”
Gupta stated that the Speaker of J and K Assembly must take strong action against those legislators who disrespected the National Anthem.
Sukhdev, Kewal, Vijay, Rakesh, Bantu, Ashish, Pradhan, Nikku, Kishore, Ajay and Abhishek were also present.
