JAMMU: The workers of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena (DF&SS)(AG) held a protest by holding the picture of Finance Minister appealing him to announce J and K as an temporary disturbed area because of ceasefire violation and Kashmir unrest which has resulted in to heavy loss to business community due to disturbed environment.
Ashok Gupta while addressing the gathering said that a scheme has been initiated by the Prime Minister of the country by the name of Income Declaration Scheme( IDS) which has been a success in the metros of the nation, but on the contrary the story of J and K is entirely different due to disturbances.
Gupta appealed to the Finance Minister to uphold Income Tax Department to provide some relief in the form of some extra time so that the people of the State can come back to normal position from the losses suffered by them. The Income Tax Department should be asked for some time to hold any kind of raids in the State till the time things are back to normal. Gupta appealed to the Finance Minister to investigate the accounts in which massive amounts of money was deposited and then withdrawn at the time of Kashmir unrest. The money was used to finance these attacks on the security forces.
The people who are operating these accounts should be upheld and an detailed enquiry should be done to abstract all the information and to recognise the ground zero.
