JAMMU: The District Football Association (DFA) Poonch, DFA Udhampur, DFA Kargil and J&K Bank Academy won their respective matches in the ongoing 2nd phase II of the Mufti Sayeed Memorial Gold Cup Football Tournament, organised by J&K Football Association (JKFA), at GGM Science College Ground, here on Friday.
In the first match, DFA Poonch defeated DFA Rajouri 2-1 while J&K Bank Academy trounced DFA Leh. In other scheduled matches of the day, DFA Kargil outplayed DFA Kathua 6-5 via tie-breaker and DFA Udhampur beat DFA Reasi 2-0.
Today’s matches officiated by the technical penal comprising Suresh Gupta, Dheeraj, Rocky Sharma, Ricky, Sanjay, Vijay Kumar and Romesh. FIXTURE: DFA Kargil meets DFA Poonch while JK Bank Academy shall take on DFA Udhampur tomorrow.
