Devotees to enjoy mini cruise at Mahakumbh 2025

Prayagraj: Preparations are in full swing to make Mahakumbh 2025 in Prayagraj smooth and simple for the devotees. All the departments of the Mela Authority, District Administration and Urban Bodies are engaged in realizing the divine, grand, new Mahakumbh as per the instructions of the Yogi government.
As per the instructions of CM Yogi, the Tourism Department is making significant efforts to make, UP Tourism is going to provide special facilities to the devotees and bathers. For the first time in this Mahakumbh, the facility of mini cruise and speed boat will also be made available by UP Tourism. Devotees will be able to avail the facility of mini cruise or speed boat for Sangam bath from Triveni Boat Club. The purpose of this service of the Tourism Department is to provide Sangam bath to the devotees in a smooth manner.
In this regard Tourism Department is also making significant efforts to make Sangam bathing as convenient and smooth as possible in Mahakumbh. Tourism Officer Aparajita Singh said that the Tourism Department is providing the facility of mini cruise and speed boat for Sangam bath for the first time in Mahakumbh 2025. This facility has been running since December 2023, but the Tourism Department will provide this service for the first time in Maha Kumbh. He told that the water sports facility of UPSTDC was inaugurated by CM Yogi himself. Through this, the journey from Triveni Boat Club of Prayagraj to Sangam can be completed in a few minutes.
This facility is also being provided on normal days from Triveni Boat Club located on Yamuna Bank Road, Prayagraj. Its main objective is to easily transport foreign and special devotees coming from the helipad built near the boat club to Sangam. Triveni Boat Club is located at a walking distance from the helipad.
Triveni Boat Club operator Deepak Tandon said that currently the boat club has 6 six-seater speed boats, 2 thirty-five seater mini cruises and 2 rescue boats. The fare of the speed boat is Rs 200 per person or Rs 2000 per hour, while the mini cruise can be taken at Rs 150 per person or Rs 5000 per hour. Both the boats can also be booked for the entire family. The mini cruise also has a cabin for women to change their clothes. Apart from Sangam bath, the boat club also takes tourists on a tour of Yamuna and a visit to Sujavan Dev temple. Efforts are also being made to increase the number of speed boats during Mahakumbh and for the first time in Mahakumbh, devotees will be able to take advantage of Sangam bath from speed boat and mini cruise by the Tourism Department.
