NEW DELHI: Delhi BJP in collaboration with Indian Medical Association will soon send 200 doctors and 400 paramedical staff to flood ravaged Jammu and Kashmir.
“With the joint efforts of BJP Delhi Pradesh Doctor Cell and the Indian Medical Association, around 200 doctors and 400 paramedical staff will be sent to J-K to help flood victims,” Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay said in a statement.
Upadhyay also said that respecting the wishes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP Delhi Pradesh will send five trucks of relief materials to the state on his birthday on September 17.
Modi has appealed to friends and well-wishers not to celebrate his birthday and instead dedicate time and resources towards relief work in this hour of need for flood-ravaged Jammu and Kashmir. (PTI)
