DECC Udhampur conducts YUVA DOOT training

STATE TIMES NEWS

UDHAMPUR: The District Employment and Counselling Centre Udhampur today organised a YUVA DOOT training programme to accelerate progress under Mission YUVA at the Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex, Udhampur.

The primary objective of the training was to undertake the initiative-wise mapping of YUVA DOOTs. This involves clearly defining their roles and aligning training modules with the stage-wise status of Mission YUVA at the panchayat and municipal ward levels.
Another key objective was to assign a clear mandate and measurable outcomes to YUVA DOOTs based on local requirements, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of field-level interventions.
Additional District Development Commissioner Udhampur Jugal Kishore Anand and Joint Director Employment Jammu S. Paramjeet Singh attended the programme. They highlighted the accelerated progress under Mission YUVA and encouraged YUVA DOOTs to counsel unemployed youth. They urged the youth to start their own ventures and become job creators rather than job seekers.
The event was conducted under the guidance of Deputy Director Employment Mohinder Sharma and Assistant Director Employment Udhampur Priyanka Gupta. They delivered a detailed presentation on Mission YUVA and provided updated information to the participants.
All SBDU members actively contributed to the successful organisation of the programme.
