DDC Jammu reviews progress on development projects

JAMMU: District Development Commissioner, Jammu, Kumar Rajeev Ranjan, on Monday convened a meeting with district officers and representatives of JMC, JDA, JKPCC, NHIDCL, Cable Car Corporation, Project Wing, ERA, NBCC, Tourism, Floriculture, LDM and Housing board to review the status of various development works being executed in the region.

Discussion was held on various issues including progress on uploading of the list in Public Financial Management System (PFMS) portal regarding all schemes, progress on DBT mode regarding all schemes, physical and financial progress under CSS/State sector/District sector schemes/PMDP, reports regarding various PILs, inter-department co-ordination issues in implementation of schemes/PMDP package, land related issues of various departments, submission of weekly progress report of various schemes to be furnished to the Chief Secretary, impediments in works, requirement of funds, if any, for administrative approved works only with preference to district development board decisions, CM’s commitments and ATRs on DDB decisions.

Stressing on regular monitoring of the projects, DDC instructed the Chief Medical Officer to personally visit the ongoing construction work on PHCs in the district and submit the progress report.

The DDC directed the concerned departments to submit the physical and financial achievements registered in their respective departments.

Among others, ADC (Adm), Kanta Rakwal, Joint Director Planning, Superintending Engineers and Executive Engineers of PDD, R&B, Irrigation, ERA besides senior officers of concerned departments were present in the meeting.
