JAMMU: District Congress Committee (DCC) Jammu (Urban) on Monday stressed on adopting a proactive approach to register significant victory in the ongoing Assembly polls in J and K.
Addressing a meeting under the Chairmanship of DCC (U) Working President Gurdarshan Singh here Thakur Hari Singh, Vice President Pradesh Congress Committee stressed on the need of gearing up District Congress Committee for the ongoing Assembly elections. He suggested various ways and means to ensure victory of the party candidates. He also highlighted various achievements of the State Coalition Government such as enhancement of the retirement age, age of entry in Govt Service, creation and starting up of new administrative units in order to ensure facilities to the people at their door steps and effectively handling of situations arisen out of devastating floods, rains and border firings.
