POONCH: Deputy Commissioner, Tariq Ahmed Zargar along with Executive Officer Municipal Council, Executive Engineer of PHE and other officials of concerned departments on Thursday visited Eidgah, Poonch to review the arrangements for Eid-ul-Azha Prayers.
DC took stock of basic facilities being provided by the concerned department with regard to sanitation, uninterrupted water and power facilities and other civil works of cleanliness in and around the Eidgah.
During the visit, Deputy Commissioner issued on spot directions to the concerned officers as well as to the field staff for ensuring proper sanitation in and around Eidgah and Jamia Masjids where Eid prayers will be held . He also called for cleanliness of lanes and bye lanes leading to all mosques and spraying of lime. Among others present were Auqaf administrator Poonch, En. Rayaz Atish, Chairman and members of the Eidgah Committee.
