DC Leh flags off 23 medical aspirant students for Jammu

STATE TIMES NEWS
LEH: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Leh Avny Lavasa flagged off a group of 23 medical aspirant students including 18 girls and five boys for Jammu to give the NEET Medical entrance exam from Leh District Library yesterday. The students are accompanied by Senior Librarian Lobzang Sushil.
DC said that the objective of this step is to give an opportunity to students with a poor financial background to appear in medical and other entrance exams held outside Ladakh. He added, the move also provides such students self-learning experience through exposure, long distance travelling, visiting new places and a better understanding of such exam patterns.
Addressing the students, DC urged upon students to make the best use of this opportunity by taking it seriously to gain maximum knowledge and experience. She stressed that the experience will help them have a holistic approach to life and wished them best of luck.
DC also appreciated JD Education Tashi Dolma and Sr. Librarian Lobzang Sushil for having come up with the proposal of sending medical aspirant students to Jammu.
