JAMMU: In the much publicized Public Interest Litigation highlighting alleged hushing up of Rajouri Development Authority (RDA) Scam wherein instead of registering an FIR despite the approval of the Director Vigilance, J&K Vigilance Organization the same was converted by SVO into Regular Departmental Action (RDA) against the delinquent officers/ officials of Rajouri Development Authority namely Mohammad Javed Khan, the then Chief Executive Officer, Rajouri Development Authority presently Custodian General, J&K Government, Khushal Chand the then Executive Engineer, Devi Dass Heer, Executive Engineer and Gurcharan Singh Junior Engineer, Rajouri Development Authority, the Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice N Paul Vasanthakumar and Justice Tashi Rabstan observed that it is seen from the status report filed today that one Mohammad Javed Khan, the then CEO, RDA has been issued a show cause notice on 3rd October 2016 calling upon him to explain his position regarding poor adjudication. The show cause notice was issued upon him on the same date at 3.00 p.m. Advocate Sheikh Shakeel Ahmed with Advocate Rahul Raina appeared for the PIL whereas Senior AAG Seema Shekhar represented the State.
DB further observed that since fifteen days’ time is over, Senior AAG appearing for respondents is directed to file a fresh status report explaining the present position.
